The Beehive Presents a Night of Interesting Tunes with the Josh Davis Group and JD WalterThe Beehive is lucky to welcome Josh Davis to the stage! On Tuesday, November 18th,2010 from 10:00PM-2:00AM, catch composer-bassist-arranger Josh Davis as he makes a special trip to serenade Boston with improvised interpretations of his own music, as well as interesting arrangements from The Police, Tchaikovsky, Beyonce, and Beethoven, to name a few.
Josh Davis will be joined by pure and innovative vocalist JD Walter, drummer Justin Faulkner, and pianist Doug Johnson. All will jam to the programmatic variations that a given community inspires. JD has been described as “an original in an art overpopulated with copycats.” JD is the edge of a new breed of “post jazz” and will wow you with a breathtaking vocal range of over four octaves.
