Dallas Attorney M. Brett Johnson Honored in 2010 Texas Super Lawyers List

DALLAS – Dallas attorney M. Brett Johnson, a principal in the Dallas offices of Fish & Richardson, has once again been named among the leading lawyers in the state in the 2010 Texas Super Lawyers list.

This marks the fifth year Mr. Johnson has earned recognition on the Texas Super Lawyers list for his outstanding work in Intellectual Property litigation, business litigation and antitrust litigation.

To compile the annual Texas Super Lawyers listing, researchers solicit nominations from the more than 70,000 attorneys across Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers assists with final selections, and fewer than 5 percent of all Texas lawyers earn the distinction each year. The list appears in the October 2010 edition of Texas Monthly in addition to the listing in Texas Super Lawyers magazine, which is published by Thomson Reuters, Legal Division.

Mr. Johnson practices all aspects of complex commercial and intellectual property litigation including patent, trademark, trade secret and unfair competition. In July 2009, he was part of the trial team that won a $178.7 million jury verdict on behalf of minority shareholders against NL Industries Inc. In July 2008, Mr. Johnson helped secure an $18 million patent infringement verdict on behalf of DeepNines Inc. against McAfee Inc.
