APEEJAY EDUCATION SOCIETY CELEBRATES FOUNDER’S DAY

New Delhi, October 20, 2010: Apeejay Education Society today celebrates the birth anniversary in the memory of the founder chairman Late Dr. Stya Paul at all the 29 Institutions including schools and higher institutions along with Apeejay Stya University. All the Apeejay schools’ students, teachers and senior management were present to commemorate the day and to offer “Shradhanjali” to Late Dr. Stya Paul .
The students paid tribute to their beloved founder chairman Late Dr. Stya Paul by the recital of some of his favorite bhajans and other activities highlighting his life and philosophy. The prestigious Dr. Stya Paul Award of Human Values (for Primary, Middle & Senior levels) were also given to the students who have exhibited excellent human values and high level of integrity in their behavior and conduct, which makes them shine out in the league. These prestigious awards are based on a selection procedure which comprised of essential features like work habits, manners and honesty in the students.
On the occasion Mrs. Sushma Berlia, President, Apeejay Education Society, said, “Dr. Stya Paul is our beloved exemplary figure who had the valuable qualities of hard work, fearlessness and Love for Truth. Under him, 29 Apeejay institutions have come up and flowered to become symbols of excellence in their various disciplines, moulding the life and careers of all future generations. This year also saw the realization of his dream of setting up the Apeejay Stya University , a world-class university that would not only be a seat of global learning, but also one that brings about transformation of society through value-based, man-making and nation-building education.”
The program concluded with a colourful cultural program on the theme “Soaring High is my Nature”, which drew inspiration from the encouraging journey of Dr. Stya Paul.
