Website promotes Working Holiday Visa to international crowd
Due to the increased diversity of people on Working Holiday Visas in Australia, Working Holiday service provider Work n Holiday has geared its services and its new website, www.working-holiday-visa.org, toward an international group of potential gap year travellers.
The website provides visa information for citizens of the various countries which share Working Holiday agreements with Australia, offering Working Holiday Packages to help international Working Holidaymakers find temporary work abroad.
“Our aim with the website is to let people in various countries know that this visa is available to them, to promote the Working Holiday programme, whose main goal has always been to foster international understanding,” said Sam Habbouche, manager of Work n Holiday. “We also offer services to help newcomers find short-term jobs and to ease their transition into Australian culture.”
Since the beginning of the Working Holiday programme in 1973, Australia has become a veritable Mecca for gap year travellers, as the number of countries sending Working Holidaymakers to Australia has risen to 23. To meet the job searching demands of rapidly diversifying participants, Work n Holiday provides specialised assistance.
“With our international staff in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, we are ready to accommodate the specific needs of participants from around the world who are searching for jobs in Australia,” said Habbouche. “Our staff members are from many diverse countries, speak the languages of our international participants, and can help participants from around the world feel more at home.”
