Press release from: CW Health Inc

Vintage Scrabble maker Hasbro has good news for shareholders as the company announces a quarterly cash dividend payout for the 3rd quarter of 2010.

The Board of Directors of Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per common share. The dividend will be payable to shareholders of record on the close of business on November 1, 2010. They actual payout will be on November 15, 2010.

Hasbro has long been a worldwide leader as a provider of some of the nation’s and world’s best games. Hasbro is the home to many other household names: Playskool, Tonka, Milton Bradley, Parker Brothers, and more. Some of their best-known game titles are Monopoly, Weebles, Nerf, Battleship, Cranium, My Little Pony, GI Joe, Mr. Potato Head, and many more. Monopoly has been its best seller. However, the vintage Scrabble seems to produce its most rabid fan base, as there are tournaments worldwide.

There is even a national association, called the North American Scrabble Players Association (NASPA). The NASPA is a community of tournament, club and avid home players of the classic Scrabble board game. All competitive play consists of two-player games. They use the Official Tournament and Club Word List (OTCWL). The list was compiled from several college-level dictionaries.

There is a site called Vintage Scrabble, dedicated to selling different versions of the classic Scrabble game. For more information or to buy the game online, you can visit the website at http://www.VintageScrabble.com.
