Every diver has already been in this particular situation over and over again. At the end of your scuba holidays you promised your dive buddy to keep in touch, writing down his email address and phone number on a piece of paper and putting it in your suitcase. Years later you will probably find the contact details again, reminiscing about all the fabulous dives you then had. That´s all with the resolution of not losing track of each other!

ScubaVagabonds.com can help you keep in touch with your former dive buddies and dive shops. It sees itself as a niche social network where divers and dive shops from around the world are able to communicate in a diver-friendly environment. Developing this platform, Boris Glumpler and Stefan Glumpler, the co-founders of ScubaVagabonds.com took particular care of the needs and wishes of scuba divers and dive shops. According to them, they “want to become one of the most user friendliest social networks for divers aiming to serve all the needs of its customers by continually developing the platform”. Due to this reason they are placing great value on the community`s feedback for further enhancement of the social network.

Right from the start ScubaVagabonds.com already ships with a lot of features:

ScubaVagabonds.com comes with no setup fees and no monthly fees. Dive shops pay a small commission for confirmed bookings only.

ScubaVagabonds.com is a project of the Glumpler GbR, which was founded in Steinkirchen, Germany in 2003 and moved into Munich in 2007. The co-founders Stefan Glumpler and Boris Glumpler, being two passionate divers, created a niche social network connecting divers and dive shops from around the world. Boris is a former Master Scuba Diver Trainer whereas Stefan is an Open Water Diver with just one dive missing to become an Advanced Open Water.
