Ecenta extends its branch in the Baltic States – New team in Riga to support SAP projects and product development worldwide

Walldorf / Riga, October 7th, 2010 – To meet the growing demand for individual SAP implementations and to speed up the development of customized SAP solutions ecenta establishes a new branch in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The ecenta Baltic Labs will support SAP projects worldwide, strengthen the product development department and – in the medium term - push the growth of ecenta in Eastern Europe.

Up to 25 employees will constitute the starting team of the ecenta Baltic Labs in Riga. However, the products and consulting firm that specializes in complex implementation projects for SAP Business Suite software, aims to grow the branch quickly. For ecenta the short distances to Russia, the two other Baltic States and Scandinavia as well as the nation´s membership the European Union make a good case for a positive development of the business. In addition the company expects to grow its team by highly qualified graduates from the universities in Riga who stand out due to great language skills, high motivation and know how.

The ecenta Baltic Labs are going to support Sap projects for ecenta in Europe, Australia, Asia and the USA onsite and offsite from Riga. The team will also support the development and implementation of ecenta’s specialized SAP product packages such as Product Analytics and Business Intelligence on Demand.

With the help of the ecenta Baltic Labs the company also aims to support the distribution of its latest SmartUp solutions – industry-specific offers for SAP CRM and SAP Business Communications Management (SAP BCM). The stand-alone installation replaces conventional telephone systems at several locations and creates one virtual telephone system that brings together all communications channels, different locations and even remote workers on one single platform. Besides the SmartUp solutions “BCM for SAP CRM” and “BCM for Utilities” ecenta offers “CRM for Insurance” as well as “CRM Simply Box” and its new SAP CRM IT Service Management solution.
