Asbestos Cancer Mesothelioma Afflicts a 39 Year Old Woman

It has been reported that a 39 year old woman has been diagnosed with the cancer mesothelioma. This is somewhat unusual because mesothelioma most frequently afflicts people who are much older. Mesothelioma is caused by exposure to the deadly mineral, asbestos. Asbestos exposure is known to cause various types of malignant mesothelioma. These include lung mesothelioma (or pleural mesothelioma) and abdominal mesothelioma (or peritoneal mesothelioma). Asbestos exposure and cancers like mesothelioma could have been avoided.
