Moustache Wearing Blue Jays Show Support for D-League “Unofficial” Farm Team.

Toronto, Canada – September 30, 2010 - Hector’s Moustache, Toronto’s greatest sports franchise, would like to thank the Toronto Blue Jays players for their show of support on the eve of our Beaches Men’s Division “D” championship game. By wearing moustaches in their final home game of the season the Blue Jays were unafraid to go on record in their support of Hector’s Moustache. Though Hector’s Moustache ranks low on the Toronto Blue Jays farm team depth chart, in fact most Blue Jays representatives are unaware of the unofficial affiliation, the Moustache play in hopes of a one-day call to The Show. In last night’s game, the coy Blue Jays players dawned moustaches made of eye black, cleverly disguised as a tribute to their beloved manager, Cito Gaston but in actuality they were sending a message to their slow pitch brethren. “Go win the championship” was the message.

So often sports franchises in a city see each other as competition, it is nice to see teams showing solidarity as we come to the end of the Baseball/Slo-Pitch season.

We wish the Toronto Blue Jays a successful end to the season, and a strong showing in 2011.
