Today, as they celebrate their 25th year in business, the two brothers reflect on their most notable projects and the formula for their success. The company was started by Ken Bollenback in 1985 under the original name, Braswell Bollenback Builders, a partnership with Allen Braswell Sr. and Allen Braswell Jr. After a successful launch, the company emerged as Bollenback Builders in 1990 under Ken’s leadership. Throughout the 1990’s and new millennium, the business continued to grow and expand it’s portfolio of projects to encompass healthcare, religious, institutional / manufacturing facilities, automotive, educational, retail mixed-use and recreational multipurpose complexes.

In 2005, Ken invited his brother, Rob Bollenback, to join him following a twenty year career as an engineer & project manager with Proctor & Gamble. During his tenure, Rob directed the engineering & construction development at P&G’s Albany, Georgia and Philippines plants. Upon the successful completion and operation in the Philippines, he became Proctor & Gamble’s Global Program Manager, to spearhead multiple large-scale commercial construction and manufacturing projects in emerging markets throughout Asia. Since taking the helm at Bollenback Builders, Rob has further augmented the company’s success and core foundation of experience, knowledge and commitment to service, adding “Since our beginnings, Bollenback Builders has adhered to the same principals; to deliver what we promise, when we promise and at a fair price. The preceding year, Bollenback Builders was presented with a Horizon Project of Distinction Award by the Association of General Contractors for the Oldsmar Galleria, an impressive 62,000 square foot, four-story mixed use development encompassing retail, office and luxury condominium residences.
