The VR Escape Room Series ‘EscapeVR’ Celebrates Christmas

MUNICH, DECEMBER 26, 2018 – The VR studio Sourcenity is celebrating Christmas with a Winter Sale on Steam for both of their VR escape room titles. The prices of both games are reduced by 20% from December, 20th till January, 3rd:
EscapeVR: The Basement: https://store.steampowered.com/app/552060/
EscapeVR: Trapped Above the Clouds: https://store.steampowered.com/app/566970/

Both VR escape room games were inspired by real-life escape games and designed from the ground up as a room-scale virtual reality experience for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) headsets. The games offer a dozen highly logical puzzles in several rooms with not rabbits conjured out of hats. They provide in-game teleporting for playing standing and room scale so everyone can play it and a built-in hint system and savings if players get stuck.

In the first episode ‘ The Basement’, players find themselves locked inside the cell of a basement with nothing to help them get out except for a bed, a toilet, and a few dishes.

In the second episode ‘Trapped Above the Clouds’, the player is trapped in a wardrobe of a mile high building which is still partly under construction with parts of the building not working as expected.

Players must explore and investigate several areas, solve puzzles and clues encountered on the way, discover several hundred items that may or may not prove to be useful, to finally escape the building.

‘Trapped Above the Clouds’ has been praised by VR the Gamers as “one of the best escape the room games around” with its visuals being “nothing short of spectacular”. Its predecessor ‘The Basement’ left players “avoiding tables and items in the game as if they were real” as a result of its immersive design. Both games can be purchased as a bundle for a further 10% off: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/5402/

Christmas is Coming. 5 Tips to beat Christmas Stress
Christmas is painted to be a time when families come together under one roof for a period of celebration, good food, great conversation and a paper hat or two. However, in reality, what often occurs is that a group of people who happen to be related are trapped together for what seems like weeks in one house with little opportunity for relaxation and enjoyment. What also doesn’t help is that at

Christmas in Phuket
Phuket, Thailand: Thailand is a 95% Buddhist country so Christmas is not a festival that officially appears in the Thai calendar, but with a large ex-pat community and Thais who love an excuse to have fun, Christmas is celebrated in fine spirit every year - especially in Phuket. In fact, they started playing Christmas carols in Phuket’s Tesco on 19th November which took me by surprise. Then I noticed the frozen
Merry Christmas
’Tis The Season To Celebrate The Annual Festive Tradition Of Refusing To Call Christmas “Christmas.” 68% of Americans say they prefer to be greeted with “Merry Christmas” and not “Happy Holidays” and yet each year the Anti-Christmas Brigade takes to the streets, and takes to the airwaves, to protest against Americans calling Christmas by its name. Why is that? Sometimes the best way to understand why people do what they do is to
