NOIDA, India - Dec. 17, 2018: What has conventionally been known as the only successful fertility option for couples, IVF treatment has undergone major changes as medical science takes new turns each day. Now, it is safe to say that IVF solution is not the only available option to couples who face fertility issues. Our team from Medtravels set out to explore the arena and what we found, sounds promising enough to give a new hope to couples all over the world.

Conventionally, In Vitro Fertilisation treatments have been taking place in dedicated centres, which provide IVF solution. Depending on each patient's case, a number of embryos might be taken from a female for the purpose of fertilisation, which are made to fertilise with a male sperm outside the body. Owing to the success rate of the treatment, it has been seen as one of the most successful ways to get pregnant and overcome fertility related issues. We wanted to know some of the common cases when patients decide to undergo an IVF treatment doctors, to which we approached some of the top fertility experts in the industry. Low sperm count in men, implantation issues and low sperm mobility were found to be among the top reasons why the issue arises.

In spite of the growing awareness and ease of availing such treatment, we also came across a section of couples who forbid themselves to go for them. Conflict with their value system, pricing issues, lack of adequate knowledge and doubts are some of the common reasons which restrict people from going for these treatments.
In line with IVF, ICSI treatment has been developed as an extension to the few times when IVF treatment does not succeed. ICSI has been known to meet specific fertility issues in couples.

We wanted to know if people can go for some other ways to enhance their fertility levels and what we got to know from some of the leading doctors in town, is that couples should work towards improving their lifestyles, consume specific medicines, and take necessary hormones if needed. If possible, women can also go for a surgery, if that is what is stopping them from getting pregnant. While there can be a number of reasons and issues with either of the male or the female, there are treatment options for both.
