Bookings open for Imagine iT
Bookings are now open for Imagine iT – a celebration of cultural differences, the Academy of Fine Arts, Bologna, Italy, 22-24 March 2007.There is something for everyone at this 3-day conference, which has approx. 30 speakers from 15 countries all talking type and graphic design. Subjects range from the highbrow to the passionate and include both historical research and contemporary case studies. Imagine iT offers a well-balanced program of technical, historical and empirical themes delivered by speakers of repute as well as rising names from the world of international design. Contributors have been drawn from across Europe, US, India and the Lebanon. An initial program will be available later this month.
Delegates will also have access to workshops that include calligraphy, tag writing and motion graphics and will be able to view a variety of exhibitions on contemporary graphics and product design. In addition there will be ample opportunity to socialize with participants, organizers and delegates and to let your hair down at the Friday-night party!
Imagine iT is fortunate to have the support of a number of organizations including the patronage of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI); and the backing of AIAP, Italy; the Alliance of German Designers (AGD); Face2Face; and the Type Directors Club of New York.
Early bird booking is now open giving more than 10% saving on the general booking price. Students are eligible to a 50% discount on the full conference price. A special conference rate is available to members of supporting organizations.
