Fuelmyblog.com Launched During Christmas Break to Advertise Blogs and Myspace Pages and Increase Readership; 1,500 Unique Visitors in First Few Days
A British entrepreneur has now launched fuelmyblog.com. It has created a new place to locate blogs and Myspace pages easily and an opportunity for blog writers to increase their number of readers, after the first week since launch, the results are very exciting. While in its infancy, the site looks promising and already has its first blogs advertised on it, it had over 1,500 unique visitors in the first week, which was between Christmas and New Year's Eve. "We are very pleased with the number of visitors last week, we expect it to grow substantially now people are returning back to their PC's," said Kevin Dixie, owner and creator of Fuelmyblog.com.
Kevin came up with the idea after writing his own blog for the past few months. "I always thought of blogs as just some random diary, I never realized how much good creative content is out there." He added, "My wife was searching for a blog that would let her know how to apply for a job over here in France, she wanted real examples by bloggers, she just couldn't find the blogs easily on the web."
Fuelmyblog (http://www.fuelmyblog.com) allows people to upload their blog and for a small fee of £5 per year (one off payment of £25), they are advertised for at least five years. "The idea of the site is to eventually create database of every good blog on the web, after all, only good bloggers will want more people reading their pages."
Fuelmyblog wants this site to be the first place people go to when looking for a blog. "I aim to increase the size of the site by re-investing the revenue generated by the blogs listed, we want the site to be here forever, not just until full." Kevin added, "some advertisers have emailed us in disbelief at the number of new readers of their blog's in the first week since launch."
The simple process of advertising will appeal to even the most inexperienced web users. Users simply click on an advertising square, upload an image and finally add a description "the whole process takes less than one minute," said Kevin. "My blog's ranking raised from 1,245,000 to under 300,000 on Alexa in just three days, that for me would result in an excellent return on investment."
The site was developed by another relatively new company called gudapps. "I was pleased to help Kevin and Fuelmyblog with the website as it looked like a great idea from the onset, we worked tirelessly to get it online before Christmas," said Kanhai, CEO.
