Press release from: CCS Content Conversion Specialists GmbH

Hamburg, August 12th 2010

TrefiCon GmbH from Switzerland, Best-Tec Ltd. from the UK and ISS Imaging System Service S.r.l. from Italy are CCS’s three new partners for their library digitisation technology division.

Acting as resellers, first contacts and support for docWORKS[e]1 and VERIDIAN2 in their respective countries, they will be offering libraries and public institutions the possibility of digitising book and newspaper collections on site, and making them accessible.

„We are very much looking forward to this collaboration“, says Claus Gravenhorst, Sales Director of CCS „With ISS, Best-Tec and Treficon we have managed to acquire strong partners with exceptional market knowledge. This is a truly significant development, on a personal level, too.”

“We had been looking at solutions of this type as an addition to our product range for some time” says Trevor King, Sales Consultant with Best-Tec “and became increasingly impressed with the quality of the docWORKS[e] product and the professional operation within CCS”

“When CCS showed us docWORKS[e] and VERIDIAN” says Andrea Furiosi, ISS Managing Director, “we knew we had found the right product we had been looking for. These solutions are also perfectly suited to librarian and publisher environments, an area that ISS has been operating for a long time.."

Dr. Thomi, CEO TrefiCon says: “After a long and detailed evaluation process it became obvious that dWe and Veridian are the best products available on the market fitting not only our product portfolio but fulfilling the high-quality needs of our customers in an excellent way. docWORKS[e] and Veridian offer our customers the possibility to use a cost effective solution which improves the results of the digitization and integrates the whole digitization process from all the different scanner platforms.”

This move sees CCS broadening its network, bringing new partners in the area of digital libraries and their electronic accessibility to the 23 existing partnerships covering the media monitoring sector
