Indoor Skydiving Germany Group started installation of new wind

Gladbeck, November 30, 2018 – The Indoor Skydiving Germany Group (ISG) started the installation of their second wind tunnel in Spain. The new indoor skydiving facility from the operator Windoor Realfly is located in the RCD Espanyol Football Stadium in Barcelona and is scheduled for opening around easter 2019.

Barcelona’s most modern stadium will gain a new attraction in 2019. A real freefall simulation in a vertical wind tunnel will be created within the north-western corner of the Real Club Deportivo Espanyol Stadium in Cornella de Llobregat, Barcelona. The Indoor Skydiving Germany Group, manufacturer of high performance free fall simulators, started the installation of their latest Indoor Skydiving technology in Barcelona on November 30 th.

With a 14 feet diameter flight chamber capable of reaching speeds of more than 280 km/h ISG will provide the pure human flight as a new kind of entertainment for beginners as well as for experienced flyers and skydivers to Catalonia.

The wind tunnel technology of ISG-Group was developed in cooperation with the aerospace department of the Technical University of Berlin and other aeronautical engineering companies and is internationally recognized for its energy efficiency, safety and airflow quality. The first reference facility opened in 2009 in Bottrop, Germany (Indoor Skydiving Bottrop GmbH – www.indoor-skydiving.com). Since then ISG-Group has built and started multiple wind tunnel facilities for customers, many additional projects are in construction or planning phase.
