NEWDAY MEDIA JSC WINS GOLD STEVIE® AWARD IN 2018 STEVIE AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Newday Media won Gold Stevie Award 2018
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run– worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners on Friday night 16 November 2018 during a dinner event attended by more than 550 people at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel in New York City. The event was broadcast via Livestream.
More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Newday Media JSC won a Gold Stevie Award of the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Events & Observances category for its Sam Son Vacation Beach Festival 2018 and a Bronze Award of the Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Asia, Australia & New Zealand.
The winning campaign “Sam Son Beach Vacation Festival 2018” was produced in April 2018 at Sam Son city by Newday Media JSC, attracted over 20,000 attendants. The festival is to raise awareness about the new young & vivid beach location, a not-to-be-miss holiday destination for holiday-goers in Vietnam. It’s also to help boost the development of the city’s tourism industry. With a bold concept of creating a mini musical on an outdoor stage and the unique idea of combining traditional performance with modern entertainment technology, Newday Media has impressed the judge panel worldwide and won a Gold trophy of the Stevie Award.
At the same time, General Director of Newday Media JSC, Mrs. Hai Yen Le also won a Bronze Stevie Award of the Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Asia, Australia & New Zealand. Wining the double awards at one of the most prestige awards in the world, Newday Media is sided with global giants like JP Morgan Chase, Thomson Reuters, DHL, University of California to name a few. “It’s our great honour to receive the Stevie Awards in both Entrepreneur of the Year and PR Campaign of the Year. This proves our effort & hard work have been paid off and great success. This is also our big motivation to go further to be the leading event partner of businesses around the world. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on six juries.

With the new Women|Future Conference preceding the announcement of winners on November 16, it was a day to celebrate the achievements of working women around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. “We congratulate all of this year’s Grand, Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners for their achievements.”
