Press release from: New Way Media

CHARLOTTE, NC: Charlotte-based Tropical Foods, a manufacturer and distributor of packaged snacks and specialty foods, is making a bold, flavor-filled splash with their new Artisan Creations line. Tropical launched Artisan Creations to provide consumers with a new generation of healthier, hand-mixed, quality snack products.

“Artisan Creations are hand-blended snack mixes designed to color your taste buds with bolder and more unique flavors,” said Chad Hartman, Brand Manager for Tropical Foods.

Each item in the Artisan Creations line is carefully and purposefully hand-mixed on mixing tables; just as true artists mix their colors onto a palette to insure consistency and wholeness of the final blend. From the complex flavor profiles of Wild About Wasabi and Wasabi Soy Sauce Cashews to the new twist of comfort foods in PB&J Mix and Kona Coffee Krunch.
In recent years, snack food manufacturers, including Tropical Foods, have experienced increasing demand for products that offer consumers a healthier snack option, while meeting their more refined palettes. The Artisan Creations line speaks to both demands. Each mix is a natural source of energy infused with bold and creative flavors. These flavors speak to the refined palettes consumers have acquired from previous dining experiences.
Kona Coffee Krunch and PB & J Mix are a healthier spin on the flavors consumers identify with home -- the unique, smooth Kona flavor of coffee or the comfort of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Future trends point towards taste preferences turning inward, back to American classics and comfort foods.

Wild about Wasabi and Wasabi Soy Sauce Cashews recreate a consumer's fine dining experience. Both mixes contain the health benefits of cashews infused with the savory and intense flavors of wasabi and soy sauce found in ethnic restaurants. “Consumers are becoming more educated about international flavors and want their food to be colorful, bold and unique,” said Hartman.
