ParetoLogic’s Elton Pereira a Finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award
“I’m delighted to see Elton make the finalist list,” said Barry Dodd, Vice-President of Marketing at ParetoLogic. “Elton’s passion and enthusiasm for ParetoLogic are infectious, and it seems that Ernst and Young agree that what he has done here is truly remarkable.”
Pereira co-founded ParetoLogic in 2004. Since then, he ushered the company to exceptional growth and profitability, expanding their product offerings and developing unique solutions for the software marketplace.
“When we started ParetoLogic, it was because there were no software programs that made things easy for the average, home user. We wanted to make technologically advanced programs that anyone could use, no matter how experienced they are,” said Pereira, “and we’ve kept to those principles.”
The Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes exceptional business leaders in Canada. Judges make their decision based on nominee’s revenues, growth, effect on their industry, strategic innovation, and corporate culture. Judges also take into account personal factors such as integrity, reliability, and relationship with staff, along with philanthropy and community involvement.
The final judging of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Pacific Region) will be made at an exclusive gala in Vancouver on September 28.
