FDM Group shoots up the charts of The UK’s Top 50 IT Training Companies 2010
FDM made its first appearance on the league table in 2007 at 48th place, with a massive increase of 60% in revenue from training. In 2008, FDM was listed 43rd, progressing to 21st place in 2009 after achieving a respectable 24% increase in training revenue. This year, FDM has attained 15th place, shooting up the league table to compete with other major players in the training industry.
The 2010 Top 50 IT Training Companies list portrayed a rather murky picture overall, with over 60% of the top 50 making a loss in revenue from training this year, due to the tough economic climate. Every company in the top 10 made a loss in revenue from training and only 3 had a positive change within the top 15. FDM is one of the few companies who managed to weather the storm in tough times, outperforming the industry in what can only be described as one of the worst recessions in modern history.
This year, FDM will be hiring 500 graduates to join their global academies. FDM’s investment in training these individuals equates to approximately £20,000 per person, which successful applicants receive free of charge. Once these graduates are trained, they progress to fill high-profile roles within prestigious companies, gaining valuable experience worldwide.
