Hyperspectral images are the process of collecting and processing information through the electromagnetic spectrum. It is the combination of spectroscopy and digital image, implemented to create a spectral contrast within the image. Hyperspectral images are formed using an instrument called a spectrometer. These images are obtained in several wavelengths and are formed in a three-dimensional hyperspectral data cube with two spatial dimensions and one spectral dimension.
