Come out and support a worthy cause

Cleveland OH-- With the impending first day of free agency just less than a month away on July 1st, Cleveland residents are uncertain and fearful as to what Cavaliers star player LeBron James will decide to do. Will he stay or will he leave his hometown to sign with another team that may give him more access to the global market?

When native Cleveland-ers Omar Baddour, Chief Marketing Officer for Carnegie Trading LLC and film producer David Karges heard the news of LeBron’s potential move, they decided to team up and send a message to their beloved city that the people must come together to help prevent this catastrophe from occurring. Hence the inception of C-Town Entertainment, a grass roots organization that will coordinate an “I Love LeBron” day dedicated to rallying the support of the state of Ohio from Columbus to Akron and back to Cleveland to keep LeBron James with the Cavaliers.

The impact of LeBron’s departure is speculated to have disastrous effects on the economy of downtown Cleveland’s thriving community. The biggest hit will be taken by the bars, restaurants and nightclubs which over the course of an NBA season, cater to over 1 million fans since LeBron was drafted back in 2003. Regional, national and international exposure of Cleveland is predicted to diminish should he leave the team. And there is no doubt that hometown pride has been negatively affected by Cleveland's inability to produce a winning professional championship since 1964. Currently, the Cavaliers with LeBron James offer the best opportunity for Cleveland professional sports franchises to bring a championship home.

The free all day event will take place on Saturday July 10th in the Warehouse and Gateway Districts in Cleveland, Ohio and will feature live entertainment including local bands and a fashion show, speeches from political figures and celebrities, free beer and food donated from local restaurants and breweries, prizes, giveaways and a raffle. Once the sun sets the trendy Warehouse District will be hosting a series of “I Love LeBron” afterparties including an exclusive invite-only Celebrity Red Carpet Party to launch the documentary film being produced in conjunction with the groundbreaking event.

Sponsorship and investment opportunities are still available. For details please visit unfinishedbiz23.com.

C-Town Entertainment’s “I LOVE LEBRON” project is a collaborative grass roots regional initiative to inspire optimism, re-establish a sense of community and make a difference by sending a unified message to a valuable asset in the Cleveland, Ohio arena. We want LeBron James to stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers. We want him to stay in his hometown. Through our combined efforts, we will continue to work towards reaching the city’s residents by bringing the people together, establishing a capacity of collective pride and affecting substantial change in order that the city of Cleveland, Ohio be kept a thriving community.
