20 years of PC-Soft – 20 years of innovative solutions for the benefit of the customer
Senftenberg based software specialist celebrates 20-year anniversarySenftenberg, 1st of June 2010 –
“We are proud that we managed to establish ourselves internationally as a medium sized company out of the Lower Lusatia region. Worldwide implementations of our software product ZEDAS® and supporting services for system integration, consulting as well as service and support prove this”, summarized Wolfgang Jahn, Managing Director and founding member of PC-Soft GmbH, the last 20 years.
Founded in 1990 as a three-person company, the Senftenberg based software company employs over 55 employees today and generated annual sales of about 5 million Euros in 2009. International market leaders, such as Vattenfall Europe Mining AG, FAM GmbH, Vossloh Locomotives and Captrain Germany belong to the customers.
“Thanks to loyal customers, qualified staff and powerful IT solutions, we have achieved to be successful in the market for 20 years. As a future-oriented system company, we continue to pursue this path with determination in the sense of the best possible customer satisfaction”, says co-founder Ulrich Lieske, Director of System Integration.
“Continuous development and improvement of our software product ZEDAS® provides investment security and should support the administrative and operational tasks of our customers as good as possible”, adds Klaus Wonneberger, Head of quality management and founding member of PC-Soft GmbH.
The company keeps pursuing its ambitious goals in 2010, but allows itself, at least for one single night in June, to look back and celebrate the achievements of the past during their anniversary celebration.
Since 1990, PC-Soft has established itself across Germany and Europe as one of the leading providers of logistics solutions and technical asset management. The company offers specialised solutions for the railway sector in particular for computer-aided management of logistics processes, vehicle fleets and railway infrastructure.
Using mobile terminal equipment, workflows are designed more efficiently and safely for all parties - a solution that was awarded the BBG 2005 Safety Prize in 2005. In the area of asset management, the focus is on maintenance and condition monitoring of technical installations that may be geographically dispersed. The standard software products zedas®asset and zedas®cargo allow the implementation of modern, centralised service concepts for manufacturers, operators and service providers.
In addition to the introduction and implementation of software developed within the company, PC-Soft GmbH offers comprehensive services for its products – from project management and consultancy throughout the entire project, the design and installation of the necessary hardware and communications solution right through to training of employees as well as product support and maintenance.
