WIworks Provides Update on Lucrative Contest For Non-Profits

May 25, 2010 – Salt Lake City, UT- WIworks, Inc., a Utah-based web design and SEO company is sponsoring a contest designed to give a helping hand to worthy non-profits and charities during these hard financial times. Donations to 501 c-3 organizations are down significantly since the onset of the Great Recession making it difficult for those who rely on donations to make ends meet, let alone update their websites.

In response to the need for internet services, WIworks has launched a FaceBook contest entitled: "My Favorite Non-Profit/Charity Contest," which will run from March 30, 2010 till midnight on May 31, 2010. 35 organizations that maintain a 501 c-3 designation have been nominated and accumulating votes. Over 2,900 votes have been cast for these nominated charities at the companies Facebook page located at http://www.facebook.com/wiworkswebdesign The organization that gets the most votes from supporters by the end-of-contest deadline will receive an internet design and services package valued at approximately $10,000.

To accommodate more of the Charities working hard to accumulate votes, WIworks has made the decision to increase the size of the gift offering to include not only the top vote getter, but also the next 4 as long as they have acquired at least 125 votes for their organization. Details of these additional awards will be announced in early June following the final day of voting which is May 31, 2010 at midnight.

This contest will allow a deserving non-profit organization to upgrade all of its online assets in order to raise money more effectively; interface with its members or donors through its site; post upcoming events and activities on a managed calendar; highlight events or member events; post images in a professional gallery of the charity operations or needs; provide hosting and email support in a secured SSL environment; assist with creation of the necessary merchant processing services; receive promotion and featured charity benefits from WIworks.com as well as from our other national sites and media relations.
