Temple Texas Chooses American Water's Kinetico HS 242 System For Better Water and Cost Savings

The City of Temple, TX, recently chose a Kinetico HS 242 Commercial water softener for their water filtration needs. Installation and service are provided by American Water of Round Rock, TX.

The HS 242 features a non-electric design that eliminates timers while providing efficient, reliable and low-cost operation. System efficiency is maximized through counter current regeneration which also greatly improves the quality of the product water. Additional savings are seen because the system is metered and demand operated which saves the City of Temple money by regenerating only as needed.

The installation took a total of 16 hours. The water hardness was 10 gpg before the softener and 0 gpg after.
