One of the "grand old men" of the piano, who in fact was not seen for years on stage or in public - ANATOL UGORSKI, comes back on the market with a sensation:

Many of the classical music lovers and piano specialists do know ANATOL UGORSKI. After his transmigration from his hometown St. Petersburg (Russia) he recorded quite alot of ouitstanding recordings with Deutsche Grammophon, until he retired from stage, concentrating on his professorship in Detmold.
But he could not stop thinking about his compatriat Alexander Scriabin, that was his music, coming from his tradition, was part of his studying time, playing it all over again and again , being in his blood - he wanted to have a say in this music. And the recording became an outstanding statement!
