For Meritorious Performance 25 JMA Pilani Girl Students Bag Prestigious Rajasthan Government Gargi award

To boost women literacy and women empowerment, Gargi Award is given every year by Government of Rajasthan to girls who scored 75% and above marks in class 10 and 12 exam of Rajasthan Board. As per this award, girl students who score above 75% in class X are given Rs.6000/- in two installments of Rs 3000/ in class XI and in class XII. Class 12 Science stream students who score above 75% get Rs 5000/-.

Established in 2004, Jamuna Mishra Academy - JMA Pilani which has been making rapid strides in early childhood education at Pilani derives its inspiration from the quote “Information is just bits of data while knowledge is putting them together and wisdom is transcending them.”

It is indeed a matter of pride that in Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan 2018 Class XII, the very third Batch of JMA Pilani had secured 100% Result. Out of the total of 28 Students who took the board examination, 24 secured First Division and 4 Second Division. School Topper for Science Stream Miss Nishita Tailor who scored 87.40 % also got highest subject marks in three subjects namely Mathematics 90%, Chemistry 95% and Physics 87%. Second topper in science stream Miss Anchal Swami with 86.2% got highest mark in Hindi 80% and in Biology 95%. The third position in science stream 80.6% was shared by Miss Parul Dhand and Miss Aakansha Sharma who also got the highest mark in English 99% and in Biology 95%.

Further, in Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan RBSE 2018 Class X, the fifth Batch of JMA Pilani also secured 100% Results. For Class X, total Students appeared 50 of which 32% secured Distinction and 42% secured First Divisor. School Topper Khushi Gurah who scored 93.50 % also got highest subject marks in five subjects namely Mathematics 100%, Science 95%, Sanskrit 93%., English 92% and Hindi 90%. Ankita Kulhar bagged the subject highest in Social Science 95%.
Other toppers included Neha Verma 90.33%, Jasmeen Choudhary 87.83%, Megha Runthala 87.67%, Ankita Kulhar 87.50%, Nidhi Choudhary 86.83%, Anjali Swami 83.83%, Sumit Kumar 82.00%, Richa Dadheech 81.00%, Nikita Dhattarwal 80.83%, Vanita Jangir 80.67%, Jayant Rawat 78.67%, Jyoti Kataria 78.67%, Shruti Saini 76.33%, Deepak Panwar 75.67% and Yash Kumar 75.17%.

In a colorful function organized by education authorities on 04 Oct 2018 at Surajghar Tagore school, 18 students of JMA Pilani got the Gargi award for their Class X performance. School topper for Class X, Khushi Gurah also received a special certificate for scoring above 90%. In addition, 7 girls who passed from JMA Pilani class XII this year from Science were also awarded with Rs.5000/ each under the Gargi award.
