Satellite Router Manufacturer Targets Satellite Service Providers and System Integrators in Telco, Enterprise, Government, and Defense Markets

Friedrichshafen, April 28, 2010 – ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, announced today the launch of its new global ‘Valued Partner Program’ aimed at resellers of its satellite router brand SkyWAN®. Through the three-tiered Valued Partner Program, ND SatCom will provide committed partners of telco, IT, enterprise, government, and defense vertical markets with customized resources and incentives in the form of sales support, discounts, training, and marketing campaigns.

ND SatCom partners possess diverse system integration skills and experience, and deliver a variety of compelling products, solutions, and after-sales service for star, hybrid and meshed VSAT networks. “Reseller partners are vital to the growing global success of our SkyWAN® product range. What will really appeal to our resellers is the access to our software, hardware and tools for demonstrations, testing and education. In the event of a complex satellite network implementation for an end customer, ND SatCom can also provide engineering and on-site support. Based on the level of commitment, our partners may receive professional services to grow their business and to react faster to their end customer requirements”, explains Matthias Gerlich, Channel Manager at ND SatCom.

According to the 11th edition of the COMSYS VSAT Report, SkyWAN® bears comparison with ‘Utopia for VSAT systems’ due to its scalability and fully meshed functionality. Key features of the network technology are its true full mesh capability, high security and encryption settings, and dynamic bandwidth allocation. With SkyWAN®, ND SatCom holds a market share of 15.5% in the MF-TDMA market resulting in more than 170 transnational networks.
