Customer-Driven Applied Research targeting Qatar and the Gulf Region
The QU Wireless Innovations Center (QUWIC) Collaborates with Orga SystemsPaderborn (Germany), Doha (Qatar), 23 March 2010: The QU Wireless Innovations Center (QUWIC), and Orga Systems, #1 choice for real- time charging and billing, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreement to collaborate in wireless R&D activities targeting Qatar and the Gulf Region. QUWIC has chosen Orga Systems as a partner because it believes that Orga Systems’ expertise in wireless billing technologies and value added services can enable QUWIC to test and introduce innovative service concepts and applications in Qatar and the region.
Valuable solutions for wireless operators
QUWIC is a unique innovations center focused on enabling the wireless/telecom ecosystem in Qatar and in the Gulf region by conducting applied research, championing technology development, offering technical consulting services, and supporting technical training activities. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Lucio Rispo, Strategic Research Director of the Qatar Science and Technology Park, and other executives from QUWIC and Orga Systems.
