ORANGE COUNTY DEAF ADVOCACY CENTER TO SELL ENTERTAINMENT® COUPON BOOKS FOR FUNDRAISER

Irvine (October, 25th 2006)—The Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center is selling the popular Entertainment® savings book to raise funds in support of its cause. The fundraising campaign will kick off 11/01/06 and continue through 12/15/06.

Each Entertainment® book contains $1,000s in 2-for-1 and up-to-50%-off discount offers from local and national restaurants, hotels and resorts, entertainment venues, local retailers, and much more. More than 8 million books are sold annually, with a cumulative total of billions of dollars in savings opportunities. More than 150 editions are available across the United States and Canada. Purchasers of the book can extend their savings online, and receive emails about new discount offers in their area.

Books cost only $35, with a portion of the proceeds from every book supporting the Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center. The Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center has been in service since November 1998 assisting people with disabilities through our programs and services. We offer a host of comprehensive services that assist deaf and hard of hearing individuals with a variety of services including: advocacy, communication assistance, employment, professional counseling, and work place accessibility. We also have specialized services for those with more than one disability. One of our largest programs for the multi-disabled is Deaf Blind Services.

We educate children with disabilities on basic safety, employers and emergency service personnel on communicating with those who have hearing disabilities and the lodging industry on basic guest access needs. We also offer American Sign Language classes, deaf business education classes, and independent living skills classes.
