New website design service offers free websites to small businesses and sole traders

Cambridge UK
September 6th 2018

A new service offering free websites for small businesses and sole traders has been launched in Cambridge. The service provides smart responsive websites tailored to the needs of small organisations and all design and creation is free. Aptly enough, the service is available from free-website.org and has been launched with counselling therapists in the first instance, but more business types will follow.

Speaking about the launch, founder Steve Robert said “So many small business owners understand the value of a web presence but don’t have the time or skills to make it happen. My free offer takes the excuses away – they can get a cool website designed and built for them for free. Ongoing hosting and maintenance is chargeable, but we make sure we are highly competitive and responsive to customer needs.” He continued “On the first day we received many enquiries despite keeping the launch quiet to ensure we didn’t over reach ourselves. We are currently providing this service to businesses based in the UK and our pricing reflects that, but are very happy to work with any small business or sole trader in any part of the world.”

Free-website.org is currently working with businesses in the health and fitness niche, but is working up propositions for other niches. Customers can choose from three basic website layouts which are then adapted to their needs. All colours, fonts, images and text are tunable to meet the needs of the business, with turnaround typically taking less than 72 hours.

Free-website.org was set up in 2018 to serve the small business market and has been actively marketing to UK organisations. Its founder, Steve Robert is a seasoned internet marketing professional who cut his teeth in the international telecoms business.
