Art And Artistes has achieved the distinction of surpassing the 2 lakh subscribers mark on its YouTube channel. The channel has grown organically over the last couple of years, with

consistent uploads of Indian Music videos. To mark this occasion, a Classical Fusion track 'Ja ja re' based on Raag Bhimpalasi, with an enjoyable blend of vocals and percussion, will be released on the 31st of August 2018 at 6 pm IST.


The collaboration of vocalist Ankita Joshi, famous drummer Darshan Doshi and the young percussionist Swaminathan Selvaganesh, has been curated by Durga Jasraj, Founder - Art And Artistes. Ankita Joshi, an established and talented classical singer, also a student of Pandit Jasraj, said, “It was a wonderful experiment adapting styles to suit the format. The excellent support from Darshan & Swaminathan was inspiring.”



Darshan Doshi, an accomplished drummer, has played with various musical groups & music directors on Bollywood films. Over the years he has toured world over with globally known artists and worked with leading musicians of Hindi film industry. He established his name in Limca Book of Records as the youngest drummer of India in 1997. He is most known as the drummer in the hit rock-musical film, Rock On!! (2008) film soundtrack. He also performs regularly on MTV India's live shows like MTV Unplugged and Coke Studio.



The young and talented Swaminathan Selvaganesh is one of the rising Musical stars playing the Khanjira. He is the grandson of the legendary Vikku Vinayakram, and the son of Maestro Selva Ganesh.
