Even though major income for Libya comes through oil mining and export, Libya gets considerable amount of revenue from its steel petro chemical and iron manufacturing industries. Libya attracts many tourists because of its vast geography; the country is promoting tourism and has exotic hotels and shopping malls, with most of them located at Tripoli, the capital of Libya.
The Libyan government is now focusing on development of sports and sports related activities in the country. The Libyan Olympic committee and general authority for exhibitions, two top bodies related to sports are planning to organize sports trade shows with an aim to attract sports companies from all over the world and to introduce varieties of sports and sports equipments to the people of Libya.

The first section of the sports trade show will have international sports companies showcasing their sports equipments, cloths and other sports related items.
