Learning Italian and Studying in a prestigious Fashion & Design

Working in a big fashion company, in an Italian “maison” like Prada or Gucci is the dream on many guys.

Becoming a famous stylist like Armani or Dolce and Gabbana is not easy, but it can be possible thanks to high quality training, especially in an Italian fashion and design academy.

To make their dreams come true, students should come to Italy where everything tells them of fashion and attend one of the prestigious fashion academies like Polimoda, Naba, Politecnico di Design etc.

But first they’d better learn Italian language and become absorbed in the Italian culture.

For instance, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci (http://www.scuolaleonardo.com/Italian-language-art-and-fashion-courses.html#courses-fashion-design-academies) in Florence and Milan offers a specific preparatory course that will help students follow the fashion courses and pass the admission exams where they are requested.

This course lasts 4 weeks and includes lessons of:

- Fashion Vocabulary, in order to memorize all the words students will need in the fashion world;
- History of Fashion and Design;
- Fashion Advertisement, just to study whom a fashion product is aiming at;
- Fashion in the Movie;
- Fashion Events.

In addition, students will have the chance to visit Fashion Museums in order to understand how Fashion and Design developed through the years and where it is coming from.

As an advanced level of Italian Language is needed, first students must take a Course of Italian Language, from a minimum of 4 weeks to a maximum of 24, if they are absolute beginners.

If they have some knowledge of Italian and want to know how many weeks of Italian Language Course they need, they have to fill in the test they will find on the school website: www.scuolaleonardo.com, clicking on “Corsi di Preparazione per Accademie di Moda e Design”, and e-mailing it to florence©scuolaleonardo.com or to milan©scuolaleonardo.com. The school will e-mail them back the evaluation and a proposal about how many weeks of Italian Language Course they have to follow.

They can start the specific Course for Fashion and Design Academies (http://www.scuolaleonardo.com/Italian-language-art-and-fashion-courses.html#courses-fashion-design-academies) on two different dates: 5th July or 2nd August.

If students are absolute beginners and need a complete Italian Language Course of 24 weeks, they can start the Italian Language Course on two different sessions as well: 18th January or 15th February.

Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the most important Italian language schools for foreigners in Italy, and organizes Italian courses since 1977. It is present in the most beautiful cities of Italy (Florence, Milan, Rome, Siena), and each year the company welcomes thousands students from 60 different countries in the world.
