MedAware Systems Dementia Research Database Pilot In Use Worldwide

MedAware Systems, Inc. announced today that the pilot of the Company’s Science of Health Informatics (SOHInfo)™ subscription service for Dementia is being used by researchers, scientists, and physicians at the Mayo Clinic, Mount Sinai Health System, Stanford University, The University of Pennsylvania, Florida Atlantic University, Texas A&M Health Science Center, McGill University, and other prominent research institutions. This comprehensive dementia research data application is also being piloted by scientists at pharmaceutical companies, including Eisai, Accera, KalGene, Avid, and others.

SOHInfo provides over millions of data points from over 10,000 dementia to support research on Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. This massive amount of data has been organized and standardized for instant analysis. SOHInfo Dementia enables Alzheimer’s research organizations and pharmaceutical companies to accelerate work in developing treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

The data set is the world’s largest body of evidence in this critical healthcare area and is delivered with a wide array of tools for users to rapidly explore and analyze all available scientific evidence from published research studies. This information will serve to improve and streamline the design of long term treatments and care strategies, targeted for specific patient cohorts.
