Lifestyle Retreat’s Luxury Seminyak Property, The Amala, Welcomes Jun Hsiang Chen (Leona) as its Resident Wellness Master

(Nusa Dua, 20 August 2018) – Lifestyle Retreat’s The Amala is proud to welcome Ms. Jun Hsiang Chen (Leona) as its Resident Wellness Master. She will be in charge of creating the property’s entire spa menu and building new wellness programs which will take place in the property’s own wellness studio.
Ms. Chen comes to The Amala bringing her 17+ years of experience in spa, wellness and aromatherapy. She obtained an aromatherapy license from the International Federation of Aromatherapists and lectured some courses there. Also, Ms. Chen did voluntary work in a local hospital where she assesses human attitudes toward incurable diseases and treat them with aromatherapy.
She has traveled the world and gathered various wellness certifications from the UK, Austria, Singapore, China and India including aromatherapy, manual lymphatic drainage, flower remedies therapy, Japanese facial acupressure and Tibetan Singing bowl sound massage.
Previously, Ms. Chen has been residing in Taiwan and worked as a spa trainer and lecturer in various spa locations around the city. Furthermore, she also ran her own private studio teaching courses in Balinese oil-free massage technique, ancient Indian Ayurvedic philosophy and yoga, etc.
In line with The Amala, Ms. Chen wishes to further highlight the unique wellness philosophy of the resort. This is supported by her recent initiative of establishing a program where guests can build their own personalized essential oils scent to be brought back as a fond memory of their stay with The Amala. A complimentary sunrise and sunset meditation sessions hosted by Ms. Chen may also be enjoyed by guests.
