Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International London, said; "We had no choice but to extend the range of services we provide to families that need specialist SAT tuition. At the initial enquiry stage it was clear that parents often find it hard to find experts on the American university application process at their child's school, and in some cases have been unintentionally misled. Spending hours on the internet was simply overwhelming them, rather than giving them the detailed information they need. Without a clear idea of how they were going to approach the US university application process, it made it difficult for us to tailor the SAT tuition in an efficient way. That led to the launch of the initial consultation service," Adam explained.

When asked for more detail on what the initial consultation involves, Adam replied; "I spend two hours with the family, examining the student's academic history and academic and extra-curricular achievements. We also discuss the student's goals, such as which US Colleges they are considering. The family then receives a detailed summary report providing a suggested timeline regarding SAT/ACT and any required subject tests and preparation required. The report is designed to clarify the way forwards based upon where the student is currently in their plans. Parents have found this absolutely invaluable," Adam added. "It also makes the rest of the process so much smoother."
