direct/ Eureko B.V. (NL) - Eureko announces issue of perpetual capital securities targeted to retail investors
6 October 2006Eureko B.V. ("Eureko"), the Netherlands-based insurance group, has today announced the proposed issuance of Perpetual Capital Securities. The issue will be targeted to retail investors in the Benelux and selected other European countries.
The issue will be used for Eureko´s general corporate purposes. The terms are designed to allow the issue to become part of Eureko´s regulatory capital under anticipated Dutch regulatory rules, with an expected "Tier 1" equivalent treatment.
The issue is expected to be rated ´BBB´ by Standard & Poor´s Rating Services and will be listed on Eurolist of Euronext Amsterdam N.V.
Eureko´s credit rating, from Standard & Poor´s, is ´A-´ (positive outlook).
The Joint Leads are ABN AMRO, Rabobank and UBS. The Senior Co-Lead Managers are Millennium BCP Investimento and Staalbankiers. The Co-Managers are Fortis and ING Bank.
The Base Prospectus and Preliminary Final Terms are available from Monday 9 October onwards, on the Eureko website, www.eureko.net.
