ADSI Strengthens Its solutions Business with the Addition of Shipping Industry Veteran Jeff Johns as Director of Business Development

ADSI, a leading systems integrator of distribution, wireless and shipping automation, announced today the appointment of Jeff Johns as Director of Business Development. Mr. Johns will be leading ADSI’s software strategy initiatives and partnership program across the United States.
In his new position, Mr. Johns will be responsible for identifying market opportunities to define ADSI’s shipping automation strategy, marketing approach and partnership development while integrating customer recommendations. His responsibilities will include the advances of ADSI’s shipping system, mobile computing and bar code solutions roadmap as well as expand and deepen the recognition of the company in the marketplace.
“Jeff Johns brings vision, innovation and 23 years of experience from UPS to ADSI,” said Bob Fischer, president of ADSI. “His leadership will continue to advance our innovative shipping solutions, high quality services and strategic partnerships that will strengthen our position as the leading systems integrator of distribution, wireless and shipping automation.”
Previously, Mr. Johns worked at UPS on key product launches such as GroundSaver, HundredWeight and CampusShip, while continuing to improve on advances in Time & Transit. He was highly decorated at UPS winning the coveted National Account Manager of the Year award. “Jeff Johns is committed to excellence in software solutions, service and customer satisfaction,” concluded Mr. Fischer.
