TiNC Works!

Enexis chooses TiNC Works! for independently measuring the health of the IT network.
TiNC Works! guarantees thousands of Enexis employees of a good and stable IT Network.
Grid operator Enexis has selected network monitoring and analysis company TiNC Works! for the
independent measurement of the network services as provided by, for example, KPN.
Grid operator Enexis transports electricity and gas to homes and businesses in the North, East and South
Netherlands. With 25 office locations and more than 4,500 employees around the country, a fast and
stable IT network is important for Enexis to continue to provide excellent service to more than 2.8
million customers.
Prevention is better than cure.
Failure of the IT network causes, in addition to inconvenience, direct and indirect economic damage to
both its own organization and Enexis customers.
The sensors provided by the Dutch TiNC Works! will help Enexis measure the quality of the IT network
independently and with great regularity. The standard SNMP solutions available on the market mainly
show average traffic volumes transiting the interfaces of equipment; TiNC Works! on the other hand
measures the health of the entire network between the user and the information system, providing
additional insights beyond the existing monitoring solutions.
"TiNC Works! Enexis helps in the early identification of possible future network disruptions. This
enables Enexis to act proactively instead of reactively", says Pier Boonstra, ICT consultant at Enexis.
This unique approach to network monitoring has multiple advantages for all parties involved.
"With the help of the simple plug-and-play system, Enexis has the ability to monitor the quality of the IT
network from almost every location - and with TiNC Works! Enexis can objectively assess its connectivity
providers on the basis of independent measurement data.", says Marco van den Akker, commercial
director at TiNC Works!
Opting for TiNC Works! gives Enexis the means to check the promised service levels and availability.

About TiNC Works!
TiNC Works! develops innovative products and services that help network managers to better
understand the performance of their network. Thanks to technologies such as Internet-of-Things and
Cloud services, TiNC Works! offers these new products at a much lower price than what is on the market
today. Organizations with a Multi-Cloud Strategy need an independent insight into the underlying
connectivity network – which is exactly what TiNC Works! provides.
