Great Connections Made As The 2018 Summer Tequila Tasting Festival Comes To A Close

Nearly 1,000 attendees participated at the 2018 Summer Tequila Tasting Festival held simultaneously in Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, and Minneapolis on July 21st. Several brand representatives, partners from the media, guests, and friends made lasting connections as they tasted a variety of tequilas.

“Tequila is one of my favorite spirits and to bring people together on a summer day to enjoy in a variety of cities to be introduced to all types of tequilas and drink compliments was very exciting. Our team did a great job to connect with the venues, brands and attendees so all would have a great and enjoyable time,” Social Scene president and co-founder William Holdeman said.

The organizers provided an intimate setting with brand representatives that successfully showcased their products. Some of the featured brands included Patron Spirits, Exotico Tequila, Savage and Cooke, Luxco, Spice Note Tequila, Maestro Dobel, and more.

Positive Growth

The 2018 Summer Tequila Tasting Festival has heralded a positive growth for the company as a whole. Each participant was given 15 tasting cups, food and drink specials, and was treated with fun surprises.

Participants also had the chance to vote for their favorite brands and shared them on social media for each of the cities. Portion of net proceeds from this event went to local charities.

Various great venues hosted the events in each market: Estate in Chicago, The Celtic On Market in Denver, Broken English Taco Pub in Indianapolis, and Prime 6 in Minneapolis.

“We further build community with fun accessories like slap bracelets, which are color coded to tell a novice from an experienced drinker. This way brands and attendees can more easily connect,” Holdeman added.

What’s Next?

On August 4th, various beverage brands are taking part at the 2018 Chicago Wine, Beer, Spirits & Food Tasting Cruise to be hosted at Valara VI. Enjoy and taste local Chicago wine, beer, whiskey, and spirits, plus good entertainment and food specials to be served during the cruise tasting.

Then on August 25th, spirit enthusiasts are set to unite as they embark on a journey to warm up their taste buds in the great season of summer.
