Get a Taste of WoW's Newest Expansion with Battle for Azeroth's Pre-Patch

Can you believe it? There's only about a month left before Battle for Azeroth's release. To amplify the excitement, Blizzard has released the expansion's pre-patch. It's basically a sneak peek at a few of the upcoming update's features. It's also a way to smoothen the transition toward the patch.

Without further ado, the features and changes included on the pre-patch.

War Mode and PvP Changes

Gone are the days of fearing for your life in any PvP-enabled server. With the new War Mode feature, players can set the mode at Orgrimmar or Stormwind. Once they've enabled it, they'll teleport to a server where everybody else has it enabled as well. That means other players can attack you everywhere (except sanctuary areas).

The update will convert your PvP Honor and Prestige progress into account-wide Honor levels. You may continue earning levels through PvP. Blizzard also revamped the PvP Talents, so check those out as well!

New Events and Character Customizations

Starting the week of July 24 and running until the release, there will be events leading up to an all-out war in Teldrassil to Lordaeron. Take the opportunity to fight in the front lines! Orc player characters have a new posture option, and Blood Elves can access golden eyes and new faces. All the options are available at Barber Shops. Also, players now have the option to change skin color there as well.

And More to Come Yet!

Each of the classes has their skills reworked or updated. The Artifact system has also been discontinued. However, new characters only starting out will still have to acquire Artifacts. There's also the new Community feature which allows players to join cross-realm groups.

Unfortunately, the new WoW mounts aren't available yet. At any rate, the pre-patch should be enough to occupy players until the release. Happy adventuring!
