PWsoft to present their new web based music systems for cruise liners at the Seatrade Med in Naples
Moodmixer™-Cruise is a central system, to be installed in a ships server room, that can handle as many different customized music channels as needed. All channels can be distributed via existing audio facilities or modern network technology.Every Moodmixer™-channel will automatically produce a non-stop audio broadcast of highest variation within a set song pool but can be influenced at any time, needing least administration.
Each song within a playlist will be selected by the system on-the-fly -just minutes before its actual use.
Rules and preferences for each single song, music style, album or any other criteria can and will be taken into account. Once set the system can run almost unattended for weeks, producing an always new audio programme.
The on-the-fly production allows for instant change of preferences, for insertion of announcements, advertisement or specially pre-planned playlists or scheduled tracks just minutes befor they are needed.
The system can also easiliy be programmed for daypart change of programme, weekly or daily re-ocurring insertions etc.
The web based installation offers online surveillance within a network, it has a fallback mode and preferences can be changed by editors via software or listeners via web site installed on an infotainment system.
Playlists can be also displayed on websites , triggering guests to research and buy music they have heard in the ship's bar or restaurants or have them to look at additional goods.
For in-room radio Moodmixer Cruise can be set up to produce special cruise music channels for different moods, also with the listener interacting, without the need of editorship since the system itself does the playlisting.
Moodmixer-Cruise will open up new and modern lines of revenue to cruise operators of the future, save a lot of editorship for the playlisting and allow for individually produced audio programmes thus making it even more comfortable for the cruise guests.
Visit PWsoft at the Seatrade Med from Oct. 18th to 20th booth 119 or read more about Moodmixer™-Cruise at the PWsoft web site.
