So that bodyshops can find the right color with even greater ease, Spies Hecker has transformed its Web-based color formula search at www.spieshecker.com/colorfinder, making it more advanced, more convenient and user-friendlier: The Web pages are now much more visual,” explains Dietmar Wegener, Color Coordinator at the Cologne paint manufacturer. “Refinishers can now view the color they’re looking for during their color search.”
With this new online service, users see true-to-original illustrations of color chips on the computer monitor. Just like with the proven CRplus color software, they can thus immediately see at a glance the formulas available for a particular color. Along with the visual display of a color, a detailed overview of all variants of a color can also be called up.

Neater and faster
The Web-supported Color Finder enables searches for specific keywords such as car maker, color name and color code as well as the house colors of well-known companies. A selection based on application areas such as the chassis, bumper or wing is now possible as well as a choice between solid and effect colors. This accelerates access speed and brings them faster to their goal.

It’s all digital, from the color search to the mixed paint
If desired, refinishers can obtain the formula as ready-for-use mixed paint. The selected mixing formula can be imported at the click of a mouse into the CRplus color software and stored in the customer’s own formula database. From here, the current formula can be sent straight to the PC scales. This saves time and money.
