Biggest German hostel-hotel-bed in Berlin
The baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel invites its guests to chill out in a 5 meters giant bedThe biggest hostel-hotel-bed of Germany was recently built in the newly opened baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel. Now the young international travellers can sunbath in the 13 sqm giant bed and enjoy the late summer in the sunny courtyard. The five mattresses can not be booked as dorm beds for an overnight stay, though.
With the giant bed the owners Olaf Juhl and Ante Zelck emphasise their pride for the new baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel, which is the new figurehead of the three baxpax Hostels Hotels in Berlin. With over 50 Hostels Berlin is one of the hostel metropolis of Europe. The Founders of the hostel movement in Germany 12 years ago they now open up the market between backpacker hostels and comfortable, modern hotels.
The baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel has established itself directly after the grand opening in May. Guests such as Daman Albarn, the famous German singer Pe Werner and the teams of the ADIDAS-Agency-Cup as well as young lifestyle-travellers have already enjoyed the special mixture of high level service and a cosy atmosphere. Next month a club that is going to open in the same building will make this new kind of accommodation even more attractive. By now the baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel has become a meeting point for open-minded travellers, artists and those, who could not find themselves in the common ways of hospitality.
