Franco Cevolini, CTO at CRP Meccanica and CRP Technology and President of Energica Motor Company S.p.A., will be attending the FIM Europe Road Safety Conference 2018 as speaker, with a focus on the Electric Mobility.
The event will be held at Westotel Nantes Atlantique, Nantes (Fra), Friday 29 June.

He will explain the “Energica formula”, from the birth as entrepreneurial vision of the Cevolini family in 2009 to the worldwide success as single manufacturer for FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup that will start in 2019.
Energica Motor Company S.p.A. is the first Italian manufacturer of supersport electric motorcycles.

Cevolini will also present an overview on the role of the CRP Group companies’ know-how in the Energica project:
Eng. Franco Cevolini, “The CRP Group acted as Energica’s technology and financial incubator, and it is still today the lead investor of Energica Motor Company, since it has become an independent entity.
The use of professional 3D printing along with Windform® composite materials and high precision CNC machining has allowed Energica to come onto the market in a short time, accelerating the prototyping and development phase”.

“Nowadays, Eng. Franco Cevolini states, CRP Meccanica’s and CRP Technology’s know-how are supporting the development of Ego Corsa, tuned version of Energica Ego for the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup.
He adds, “Whoever works for F1 teams, for automotive and for all advanced industry sectors, has something different in his DNA: technology is worthless if it is an end in itself. People have to work hard, fast and provide excellent services. But above all, it is crucial to know and understand customer needs before submitting them a solution. This is, in summary, the "CRP Process", and from the CRP Process derived a corporate culture that has helped Energica to develop and grow in a few years. “

CRP Group (CRP Meccanica, CRP Technology, Energica Motor Company, plus its US-based partner CRP USA) is leading technology provider, expert in high precision CNC machining and professional 3D printing with its patented SLS polyamide-based glass or carbon fiber reinforced Windform® materials. CRP Group is distinguished by its know-how in specific application fields including but not limited to: automotive and motorsports, design, aerospace, UAVs, marine, entertainment, defense, and packaging.
