eHealth and Application Services: ICW to Cooperate with

yellowworld AG, a company of the Swiss Post Group, and the eHealth specialist InterComponentWare (Switzerland) AG (ICW) have signed a letter of intent for a partnership in the Swiss market. The main focus of the partnership is on customer demands in the field of IT services for disease prevention and health promotion.

The desired cooperation unites the know-how of yellowworld AG as leading provider of application services (ASP) and business process outsourcing (BPO) in the Swiss eFulfillment market with ICW's offer as an international provider of software solutions in the health care sector. This provides the customers with a unique service spectrum ranging from software, service and fulfilment (logistics and billing) up to online marketing and content services.

At the center of focus of this operation and distribution partnership is the web-based application LifeSensor by ICW. LifeSensor is a personal, electronic health record in which the owner saves his health data in a clearly structured form. In the scope of his individual health promotion and disease prevention, the owner can detect weak spots and use possibilities for improvement. For this, prevention data like sports training plans and results can also be saved, evaluated and optimized where necessary. The LifeSensor user can also provide his or her health data to physicians, pharmacists and hospitals – in a fast, safe and reliable way. The personal health record can also be linked to the infrastructure of an electronic health card.

Both partners will provide an initial insight into the planned cooperation at their joint appearance at the eHealthCare.ch 06 congress on September 28/29 in Nottwil, Switzerland.
