‘The Voice of 800 Dogs’ Festival will have voices of artists, activists, comedians, musicians and celebrities support the 800 rescued dogs of the world’s largest no-kill sanctuary & rescue

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Bangalore): ‘The Voice of 800 Dogs’ festival will run from 20 June 2018 for 3 months and will celebrate, showcase and support the 800 rescued dogs that call the VOSD SANCTUARY™ their home. VOSD SANCTUARY™ is the world’s largest no-kill dog sanctuary and rescue, that has rescued over 7,500 critically injured or abandoned dogs, administered over 250,000 treatments and has 800 dogs that live for life on a lush sanctuary with nutrition, maintenance and onside medical care that is unprecedented worldwide. The ‘The Voice of 800 Dogs’ festival will see a series of events, fundraisers, and talk sessions in Bangalore, and online,

● “The Land of 800 Dogs” exhibition that will be a visual journey into the life of 800 rescued dog through the eyes to painters, photographers and installation artists. This is an exhibition over several days including paintings by Aarohi Singh Phadke, photographs by Rahul Ajith (Bangalore), TejolKolwalkar (Mumbai), Natty Mason (Los Angeles) &ShashankKhare (Bangalore) and several other installation artists.
● “Barking Mad” will feature India’s tops stand-up comics that support ‘The Voice of 800 Dogs’. Barking Mad is India’s leading charity stand-up comedy franchise with 14 sold out shows that have featured or supported by India’s top artists BomanIrani, Kenny Sebastian, Vikramjit Singh, RadhikaVaz, NeetiPalta, Sanjay Manaktala, SundeepRao, PoojaRuparel, Naveen Richard, Praveen Kumar and others
● “Furball” allows dogs and their owners to experience fun and games together in great outside environments. So far these have included both gourmet experiences and flea market in and around Bangalore.
● “Monster Bake” is the bake sale that will have Bangalore’s most exclusive patisseries and bakeries bake for ‘The Voice of 800 Dogs’. Monster Bakes are India’s largest charity bake sales
● “India’s Best Dog Care” awards and shortlists for various categories such as veterinary hospitals, vets, boarding& kennels, trainers, rescuer, NGOs, law-enforcement, and other agencies and people that care for dogs.
● Online fundraiser featuring individual dogs from The VOSD Sanctuary.
● Online contests that feature dog owners as well as their dogs.
● VOSD Talks: Awareness sessions about responsible dog ownership and animal laws, especially in context of by laws by BBMP and other municipal bodies. The VOSD Blog is the world's largest legal, data and medical FAQ with a wealth of data about issues concerning dogs.

These events will be spread across 3 months and will bring together dog owners and enthusiasts and the best talent in music, comedy, visual arts, patisseries, vets & celebrity interactions in a fun & meaningful way.
