Model Examiner MXAM 1.4

Model Examiner MXAM 1.4

The Model Examiner (MXAM) checks the guideline compliance of Simulink® and TargetLink® models, ensuring consistency with established industry standards and company guidelines, and offering automated repair of detected guideline violations.

Berlin, 26 November 2009 – Model Engineering Solutions GmbH from Berlin has announced the release of the Model Examiner 1.4 – the newest version of their proven guideline compliance checker for Simulink® and TargetLink® models. MXAM 1.4 now offers extended documentation of guideline violations as well as additional automated repair options, and introduces flexible parameterization of checks.

The complexity of today’s software models together with the vast number of applicable guidelines pose an enormous challenge to embedded software developers. A dependable tool that automates model guideline compliance verification is an increasingly crucial part of the model-based development process, especially where safety-critical software is being developed.

With its easy-to-use interface, MXAM helps developers manage the application of industry guidelines such as MISRA AC TL, IEC 61508, MAAB, and ISO 26262, as well as company guidelines and project-specific guidelines. Model analysis by MXAM not only detects guideline violations, it also offers solutions and automated corrections wherever appropriate. In combination with automated report generation, MXAM saves your developers a lot of time and effort, not to mention greatly enhancing reliability when modeling safety-critical software.

Simple configuration also means that MXAM can be easily integrated into your existing tool chains.
