Christian Kremer, Deputy Secretary General of the EPP in Brussels, visits DFE Chemie

The Deputy Secretary General of the European People's Party (EPP), Christian Kremer, visited the company at the invitation of DFE Chemie GmbH in Düsseldorf.
The EPP is the association of christian democrat and conservative centre right parties in the European Union. Christian Kremer is head of the political department of the EPP and is also engaged in economic and environmental issues.
The managing director of DFE, Oliver Paessens, informed his guest from Brussels about both the development and the challenges of the company in the global competitive environment. In an in depth conversation, the DFE management and the European politician exchanged views on international trade issues, a meaningful immigration policy from the point of view of small and medium-sized businesses and other topics.
During the subsequent company tour, Kremer gained insight into the various company processes and the product portfolio. In particular, the positive effects of using pickling inhibitors from the FEPORID® series in the steel industry with regard to competitiveness, resource conservation and emission prevention, were explained by the management.
Satisfaction was expressed by DFE Chemie after the visit: "We were very pleased that Mr. Kremer accepted our invitation and showed great interest in the concerns of small and medium-sized companies." the management reported.
